*After baby's vaccines, he got really sleepy and didn't eat very well. Unfortunately he lost a bit of weight. Took him 2 days to recover.
*We managed to play tennis for the first time since his birth! We played with 2 other friends and fortunately baby went to sleep so we were able to play for an hour!
*Baby went to his first Diwali party! And I wore my saree for the first time.
*Sleep has been varying. A good day he could sleep 5+hours in one stretch. But a had day he might wake up every 2-3 hours. His wake up time seems to be around 6:37 a.m. We're trying this new thing where we have him wake up from his nap by 6:30 p.m. and then go to sleep by 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. It seems to help a little bit.
* We dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters for Halloween. We were given a small lion costume. YW and AB made Dorothy and Tin Man costumes.
*We walked to the polling station for Baobao's first experience voting.
*Baobao went to church and to a Christmas musical. We were worried he would fuss, so we always look for aisle seats near the exit. But he has always been comforted by the pacifier or bottle feeding.
*YW has been trying to pump at least 7 times per day, for 20 minutes each. YW has reduced down to pumping once at night. YW can't wait to reduce more pumping sessions, and is worried about returning to work (twice/week). She produces 24-27 ounces per day, so has been enough for Baobao this past month.
*On Thanksgiving, we had calls with AB's family and YW's family. On this day, Baobao started verbally responding to our voices (having "conversations"). He has also started to smile more when we smile at him.
*He enjoys looking at ceiling lights, but he has not learned that the sun is different. If you stare at the sun, you will hurt your eyes.
